Role Description:

The Network Engineer at Roriri Software Solutions is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure. This role requires expertise in network configuration, troubleshooting, and ensuring secure and efficient operations of all network systems. The engineer will collaborate with IT teams to optimize performance and ensure minimal downtime.

Qualifications:

• B.E, M.Sc. in computer science, B.Sc. in computer science, BCA, CCNA
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and routing concepts.
• Experience in configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage secure and efficient network infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Document network configurations and create technical reports as required.
• Collaborate with IT teams to address network-related challenges and implement improvements.

Skills Required

• Networking Fundamentals: Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), subnetting, and routing concepts.
• Hardware Knowledge: Experience with configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity, performance, and security problems.
• Network Security: Knowledge of implementing and managing firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and cybersecurity best practices.
• Knowledge of Network Management Tools: Proficiency in tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios for monitoring and analyzing network performance.
